This summer, I am honored to say that my first ever clothing collection will be released at the end of this season to launch the emergence of my senior year. Wow, it has been a journey. In April of 2020 I was granted my first ever sewing machine. Eager to learn, I bolted to the nearest hobby lobby to extract my supplies. I was underwhelmed with the amount of soccer mom, grandma made my halloween costume styled prints and patterns. To relieve my disappointed, I heeded to the thrift. Low and behold a beautiful cottage core leafy bed sheet flew before me. I look at the bed sheet and thought to myself, unhinging potential. Scattered brained by the treasurer, I retreated home to begin my conquests. 8 exhausting hours later I had an extravagant two piece set, ready to be worn for summer. I halted with the realization of how good my process was for the environment. Instead of spending 25 worthless dollars at a corporate run sewing shop, I could just thrift and flip my fabrics. This is the inspiration of this collection. In honorance of natural beauty, natural bodied, and most defiantly natural sources. Every piece showcased was sewn personally by me and all the garments are crafted from blankets I had thrifted over the years. This style of sewing allows me to be more creative and expressive in my work. I am less confined to the traditional method of sewing. With that, this collection will be made up of 10 separate pieces, ranging in styles and shapes. I hope you enjoy the sneak peak!
